Save money on your food bill

In the past year (to April 2023), cost of food has risen by 12.5 percent in Aotearoa New Zealand, This is the highest annual rate of increase in 35 years.

Fruit and vegetables rose by 22.5%. By growing some food at home and sharing and swapping with those nearby, we can make good use of our collective resources and cut back on the grocery spend.
